Creator Day 2025 is more than content, it’s connection. This multi day experience invites local influencers, storytellers, and creatives to step behind the scenes and experience how the City of Sanford works, supports, and grows with its people.
We’re celebrating the creators who show up, speak out, and shine a light on what matters and we’re doing it through access, collaboration, and community pride.

We’re kicking off Creator Day with a city proclamation officially recognizing the power of creators in shaping culture, connecting communities, and telling the stories of Sanford. It’s a moment of honor and visibility and the start of something special.
Thursday, August 28 – Creator Ride Along

Get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into how the city runs. From parks and recreation to public works, creators will ride along with city staff to document the real work that keeps Sanford moving.

Part 1: Conversation with the Mayor

Join us for a guided civic conversation with Mayor Woodruff and city leaders about storytelling, representation, and the future of local collaboration between creatives and city government.

After the conversation, we’ll head over to Elevated Eats for a special brunch hosted by a local small business. It’s a chance to relax, build community, and uplift Sanford’s growing creative and entrepreneurial scene.
